You cannot become an adept and remain as you are - Change is implicit - transformation is necessary. It is the power represented by this Key that transforms our consciousness and releases it from the trammels and limitations that now hamper its free expression. Death is but a gateway to a larger life in reality. The card does not represent the end, but the real meaning of death, which is change, motion, or transformation. The one power that unites all things is love.įirst, the scene is not a sunset - it is a sunrise. Key 13 - 13 is a very special number - it is the number for the hebrew words Ahevah and Achad - Love and Unity.
